Simpsons Monopoly

Anyone can become a megamillionaire just like Mr. Burns with this collector’s edition of Monopoly based on The Simpsons, the beloved, sometimes-controversial animated TV series. The rules of the game remain the same, but the old Monopoly properties are now all Springfield landmarks, with a new monorail running across the game board. Players use tiny pewter game tokens of Bart, Homer, and other Springfield characters as they purchase stores, restaurants, and homes. Who wouldn’t want to buy Krustylu Studios or the Kwik-E-Mart? Instead of acquiring houses and hotels, players try to accumulate monorail stops and stations on their properties. Customized Chance and Community Chest cards offer additional sly references and cartoon drawings of the characters. The cultural references are up-to-the-minute, but the educational value of playing strategic board games remains constant. –Marcie Bovetz, mother and former children’s librarian

4 Stars Simpsons Monopoly
Simpsons Monopoly is a fun board game for the entire family. This is especially fun for Simpsons fans. Like the original Monopoly kids learn how to deal with money. The game pieces “pewter” includes Homer and Bart but not Marge nor Lisa. These are sold separately. This is a must have for Simpsons fans.
5 Stars Buy it!
If you are a monopoly or Simpsons collector, or both, then you MUST have this game.
I am both and I collect versions of Monopoly, and I must say this has become my favorite edition by far, even better than the Treehouse of Horror edition. The pieces are fun, the cards are fun, the money is fun, this entire package is just amazing as both a Simpsons toy and a great board game.
4 Stars It’s the Simpsons! (In board game form… again!)
The Simpsons Monopoly (part of the board game installment that includes The Simpsons Sorry, Clue, Life and others) brings the classic real estate game into the world of the Simpsons. With nice artwork, fun pieces and properties any Simpsons fan will recognize, this game is a great addition to any family’s collection.
The Simpsons version still takes as long to play as the original, so set aside time for that. Also, I wouldn’t necessarily describe any Monopoly game as “educational”, but if you think classic Monopoly is fun AND you’re a Simpsons fan, then I definately recommend this game.
1 Star simpons monopoly

5 Stars The Simpsons adds more fun to Monopoly

Cute monkey, The scorepad is great for family members that just have to list everything and keep score. Also helps with team play! We also used it for our Domino game…
5 Stars Love this
We got this after ordering within 4 days. We are having the time of ou rlives playing it. When our kids come over they always want to play!
5 Stars really fun for a variety of ages
This game was really fun for everyone in the family. It is like free-form scrabble. Great for word building and quick thinking!
5 Stars You won’t slip on banans…
This is scrabble and crossword puzzling blended together. Speed, cleverness and a command for words makes this game fun for all “gamers”. I was surprised at the loads of fun it provided by simply creating words and then connecting them using random letter tiles.
5 Stars great entertainment
I bought this for me, and i bought another as a holiday gift. The game is as educational as scrabble, but it is much more exciting! I love the quick action, and the game is easily modified to take 10 minutes or 1 hour.

5 Stars Excellent Game
My children loved to play Monopoly, however, it was no longer interesting for me. I bought this version in the hopes of reviving my interest in the game. It was indeed worth the cost. Every time my children asked to play this game I was as interested as they were.
This is a refreshing new edition. The properties are more meaningful, and the currency is updated. The rules remain the same, however, it looks and feels more relevant.
I recommend this version.
5 Stars Monopoly Here and Now
The game is really fun and the up to date symbols and references are really fun.
5 Stars Wow! I won the first game!!!!
Having played the original Monopoly when I was a child it takes awhile to learn the new names on the spaces. The money is interesting too…just add zeros to the old game money. I think it always has been a good tool for learning to deal with numbers for kids. I’m looking forward to playing many games and to win once in awhile.

4 Stars monopoly then and now
like this version of the game. more modern and up to date than some of the older versions, i think kids today can identify more with this game.
5 Stars better than expected
I expected a small upgrade from the original but, this was so much more. The directions were clear and easy. I love the ATM. My husband enjoyed being the banker and kicked my butt in the first game.

4 Stars don’t assume!
Looking at the product picture I assumed (stupid me!) that I was getting a boxed set with the four games pictured inside a single box. Instead I got the four games boxed separately. “Games From Dan” took pains to note that I got exactly the items advertised, which I did, but I did not get what the picture led me to expect, which would have been a nicely boxed gift set. Buyer beware!
5 Stars set is awesome!
we haven’t played the other three games yet, but set is sooo much fun. er bring it to every party…it is sooo addicting. fun, challenging and a real hit with everyone.
5 Stars 4pk review
I bought these based on the other reviews posted. We like to play games, esp when the weather doesn’t allow us to be outside. A couple of days after we rec’d them, it was below 0 and so we tested all of them(except Xactica). My favorite is Set, but my 10yr old likes Quiddler and 5 Crowns best. My older son, who is sometimes too cool to join in on games also had fun with these. The decks are extra large and so are a little challenging to shuffle. I am going to try to get an electric card shuffler to help out.
5 Stars PERFECT
I LOVE these games. They are so quick to learn and easy to play … GREAT for the family… very fun games … I HIGHLY recommend this collection (especially, SET!)
5 Stars Quiddler, Xactica, Five Crowns, and SET
Value 4 pack SET, Quiddler, Xactica, Five Crowns
These games are addicting. I played with my 18 year old son. It was frightening to watch his mind work. He had figured out an advanced strategy for SET by the time he had played two games. (I had practiced for a week before he came home for Thanksgiving, and only beat him the first two games.) These are card games, light, easy to carry, easy to learn, and endlessly interesting to play. The games go quickly, so you’re not investing the whole evening. They range from visual pattern recognition (SET) to word formation (Quiddler). By the way, quiddler is a word — I challenge you to look it up!
These are great games.

Horse Opoly

This a game that actually encourages horseplaying! It has all the action of a traditional property trading game with some galloping good fun. Buy your favorite horses, then collect bales of straw and trade them in for barns. As you play, turn over the deeds to learn interesting facts about each horse. Standard play or One Hour Version.

5 Stars Horse-opoly review
We enjoyed it very much and look forward to many more hours of enjoyment. Our 5 year old is enjoying it with us.
5 Stars Great game and hours of fun!
I bought this game for a 9 and 11 year old. Their mom owns a couple horses and the girls have been taking lesson recently. The girls played the game several times all weekend long for hours. They loved the fact everything had a horse theme from the horses on the board to buying barns and bales of straw, instead of properties and hotels. I would highly recommend this game to any horse love of all ages!
5 Stars Great gift
Bought this game for my daughter who is into horses last Christmas. She loves it and plays it often. It’s a great novelty addition to the traditional look of the game. The horse theme gets her interested in something other then video games too. Great gift! Wonderful fun way to teach kids how to handle counting and making change with money too.
5 Stars Playing all the time
My grand-daughter is so happy with this game!!!!!!!! She has played it over and over with anyone who will agree to play. This was a great choice and one she loves.
4 Stars Horse-Opoly
This was a birthday present for my horse-crazy niece, age 8. We played the game as soon as she opened it. The game lasted 4 hours… That was a bit long, but the kids had a great time. The second time around, they had figured out if you trade cards and get all of the same color, so you can put barns on the properties, the game goes more quickly. Overall, I would recommend this over some of the other versions of Monopoly (like the Barbie edition, for instance.) It does teach a bit about the different breeds of horses, and the costs associated with them!
